Cleburn “Mac” McAnally, 84, passed away Thursday, October 1, 2015, at Longwood Community Living Center in Booneville with his son and the love of his life at his bedside. He was born January 9, 1931 with his twin brother, Rayburn, to Sam and Jessie Jackson McAnally. He joined the Navy at 17 to fight in Korea. He loved to play golf, shoot pool and have “2 beers” at the VFW or American Legion. He also served as commander of VFW in Booneville for a short time and he loved animals.
A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, October 4, 2015 at McMillan Funeral Home with Bro. Cody Hill officiating. Burial will be in Sumners Chapel Cemetery.
He is survived by the love of his life and mother of his children, Lorraine Surratt McAnally; one daughter, Sharon (Rick) Harris of Carol Stream, IL; one son, Tony (Donna) McAnally of Santa Monica, CA; one sister, Juanita Tynes of Owasso, OK; three grandchildren, Erin McAnally, Sara (Steve) Malloy, and Daniel Patrick Harris; one great grandson, Elliott John Malloy; and a host of other relatives and friends, some with two legs and many with four legs.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his twin brother, Rayburn McAnally.
Visitation will be 5-8pm on Saturday, October 3, 2015, at McMillan Funeral Home and until service time on Sunday.
Country hit-writing machine and producer Shane McAnally is legally married in the state of Tennessee. On Friday (Jan. Adobe photoshop download mac os x. 20), he wed his longtime partner, Michael Baum, in Nashville.
McAnally and Baum were technically already married, but it wasn't recognized in Tennessee. The two decided to make it a legally official union at Nashville Mayor Megan Barry's office. She joined them in the ceremony but they weren't alone in the office. Their two children were also in attendance. McAnally shared the exciting news on Instagram with a beautiful photo of their 'modern American family.'

'5 years ago we were married on a beach in Mexico surrounded by the ones we love,' McAnally shared with their photographer'simage. 'While forever bound in our hearts, we were not legally bound by law because our government didn't recognize our union at the time.'

McAnally shared another photo of the ceremony saying that the couple were 'overwhelmed with all the love and well-wishes and are so grateful we live in a time and place where our family can be recognized by our government. On a day where we felt the weight of a divided nation, we chose to celebrate our freedom to love who we love.'

McAnally is a very important songwriter and producer in the country community. His resume includes work with several top artists, including Reba McEntire, Miranda Lambert, Lady Antebellum, Sam Hunt, Kenny Chesney, Jake Owen, Luke Bryan and Kacey Musgraves. He's pretty good pals, and business friends, with Musgraves. McAnally produced her two albums, and helped write the majority of her songs.
